About:

I like to do everything. I code. I draw. I write. I animate. I play music. However, I find it most rewarding when I can see the whole picture and help a team reach that goal. This is why I've chosen Game Production and Design as my profession.

I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2008 with a BFA in art. During my undergrad, I concentrated on Electronic Media (3D animation, video, and interactive art & games) and 2D Media (painting, drawing and sequential art), but my main focus was always in communicating a concept to an audience through visualization and experience.

I now attend CMU's Entertainment Technology Center as a graduate student of 2010 where I am furthering my education in game design and game production.

Academically, my interests in games range from understanding storytelling within interaction to the effects of culture on play and play on culture. I think interaction is both an abstract and intuitive form of communication that has plenty of unexplored territory. I am fascinated by the changes in game trends and technology that time brings and look forward to the new opportunities that come.
