Ideatum - November 2006
This is a comic about a little girl named Natalie who believes she can do magic. However, since magic doesn't exist in real life, her spells are really just games and wishful thinking. However, desire overcomes her sense of reality and she starts to see the fantasy in places where they don't exist. Call her crazy, but does it really matter if its real? Believing makes things true. This is just a trial chapter of this concept I was working on. The story didn't go anywhere I wanted it to. Later, I will redo it to make a full story. |
Rain Spirits - Fall 2006
This was a 6-page comic done in collaboration with a fellow classmate in my Sequential Art class in 2006. It wasn't supposed to go any further than a script and pencil sketches, but I liked his script so decided to finish it up after the semester was over and post it up here for people to see. This comic short was written by Leo Covarrubias and drawn by me.
